Welcoming Winter

What a crazy Fall trimester! I can't believe it's already over. Here are some highlights to the trimester, including artwork! We were booked in October and November! First, we took some of our most talented artists to Grand Rapids for National Portfolio Day! It was awesome and the kids got a lot of great feedback. Then in November, Mrs. Naar and I went to Lansing for the MAEA (Michigan Art Educators Association) meeting. It was a long weekend and a success. Keep up with everything we are doing now at our Twitter: @CHS_art_dept.

'Tis A Wonderful Fall!!

What a crazy Fall!! We have been making all sorts of amazing artwork in the art labs of Chelsea High School. I love all the work that has gone into Studio, Ceramics and Jewelry so far! We have more work coming out of Drawing, Photography and Intro classes that we can post later this month!

The Orchestra Teacher at our school asked us to build a house for a concert they were doing and we went all out! The boys made this awesome house from cardboard and went out of their way to do an amazing job!
